According to the legislation of Kazakhstan reissuing and obtaining a duplicate (copy) of the Birth Certificate is possible only if there is a Power of Attorney issued personally by the person in respect of whom the birth record was drawn up.
If a document confirming the fact of birth must be received by close relatives (children, grandchildren, etc.), then in this case we can receive a Birth Record Information Note.
The Birth Record Information Note contains all information specified in the Birth Certificate and is issued on the official letterhead of the authorized body.
In order to obtain the Birth Record Information Note, in addition to a notarized Power of Attorney on behalf of a close relative, documents confirming family ties with the person in respect of whom a birth documents is requested will also be required.
